General Terms and Conditions (GTC) of CHI Classics Basel Ltd (Organiser)

These GTC apply to the legal relationship established by the ordering, purchase and/or use of tickets and/or accreditations for events of CHI Classics Basel Ltd. By purchasing or using the tickets and/or accreditations, the purchaser or user accepts the validity of these GTC. Only the German version of these Terms and Conditions is legally binding.

1. Access to the event area (indoor and outdoor)Admission is only permitted with a valid ticket or accreditation.
The general terms and conditions of the ticket agent Ticketmaster also apply without restriction to the purchase of tickets. Spectators may only access the event areas intended for spectators. Access to the stables and warm-up arena 2 is not permitted.

2. Liability
Access to the event site is at your own risk.

3. Instructions of security staff
The instructions of security staff and the event speaker must be followed. The security authorities are entitled to carry out identity checks. Persons who pose a security risk may be denied access to the event or expelled from it.

4. Conduct on the event premises
Ticket purchasers must take the seat indicated on their tickets. All entrances and exits as well as emergency, escape and rescue routes must be kept clear at all times.

5. Accompanying Animals
Animals are not permitted on the event grounds. This does not apply to guide dogs for the blind or assistance dogs.

6. Recording of the event
The production or distribution of sound, photo, film or video recordings or other descriptions of the event for commercial use are not permitted without the consent of the Organiser.

7. Recordings of the ticket purchaser
The ticket purchaser consents irrevocably to the entitlement of the Organiser to make, have made, copy, broadcast or otherwise disseminate audio, photographic or audio-visual recordings of the ticket purchaser in the course of the event (including for promotional purposes) without remuneration.

8. Protection of personal data
Personal data is collected and processed in accordance with the DSGVO (General Data Protection Regulations). The provisions of these regulations are listed in detail on the website chi-classics-basel.com.

9. Event postponement / abandonment / cancellation
The Organiser may cancel, postpone or abandon the event if unforeseen circumstances make its implementation impossible. If the event is postponed or relocated, tickets will remain valid. If the event is abandoned, the ticket price will not be refunded. If the event is definitively cancelled, purchasers will be refunded the ticket price less any fees incurred.

10. Lost or damaged tickets
There is no entitlement to replacement of lost or damaged tickets.

11. Final provisions
The Organiser reserves the right to make changes and additions to these GTC. Any such alterations will become valid by publication on the website chi-classics-basel.com. If individual provisions of these GTC become wholly or partly invalid or unenforceable, this will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. Swiss law will apply, and the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Basel.
